Job summary

Med-Trans Corporation in Milton, FL is hiring a Flight Nurse to join our air transportation team. You will safely transport patients to and from medical facilities, and participate in scene call work, with emphasis on high safety standards.

The role requires a licensed RN with emergency or critical care experience, current state RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, NRP, EMT/Trauma certifications, CFRN within 24 months. Two 24-hour shifts weekly, and company-paid crew housing on shifts.

Qualifications

• Three years of Emergency or Adult Critical Care RN experience.
• Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status; CFRN within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess situations to determine best action for critical care transport.
• Utilize critical thinking to manage ill or injured adult or pediatric patients.
• Maintain safe aircraft environment and comply with safety standards.
• Communicate with air/ground teams, dispatch, flight crews and facilities.
• Share shift change info and maintain regulatory documentation.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training for the role.
