Job summary

PHI Health in West Lafayette, IN is seeking a Flight Nurse to join our elite team. You will provide safe, comprehensive care to critically ill or injured patients during pre-hospital and inter-facility transports, using specialized flight nursing protocols.

Requirements include an active RN license in the state, 3+ years of critical care experience, current BLS/ACLS/PALS and other certifications, CFRN within 24 months, and a willingness to complete PHI orientation. Sign-on bonus up to $15,000.

Qualifications

• Active RN license to practice in the state employed.
• Minimum 3 years, 5 years preferred in critical care/emergency.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNATC, TNCC, ITLS, or PHTLS; NRP preferred.
• CFRN within 24 months of hire.
• Flight or transport experience preferred.
• Must complete PHI Air Medical Group orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, comprehensive care to critically ill or injured patients during transport.
• Document assessments, treatment, and billing information accurately.
• Maintain effective communication with management and external customers.
• Participate in PR and marketing activities.
• Maintain knowledge base via meetings, labs, clinical rotations, and education.
• Complete annual recurrent competency requirements.
• Operate under Medical Director protocols and online guidance.
