Job summary

Guardian Flight, Inc. is hiring a Flight Nurse to transport patients and participate in scene calls with a focus on safety and high-quality patient care. You will join a professional team dedicated to safety standards for crew and patients.

The role requires critical care RN experience, active RN license in served states, and required certifications. Training includes CFRN within 24 months and ongoing education; housing is provided during shifts.

Qualifications

• Three years in Emergency or Adult Critical Care as an RN.
• RN license in the states served by the area.
• EMT and Trauma certifications as required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP before flight status; CFRN within 24 months.
• Certified CFRN required within 24 months from hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess situations to determine best course of action for patient care in critical situations.
• Manage critically ill or injured patients and support physician orders.
• Maintain safe aircraft environment and perform equipment/base checks.
• Communicate with air/ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Share shift change information and maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
