Job summary

Guardian Flight, Inc. is hiring a Flight Nurse to join a team of air transport professionals delivering high-quality patient care during transport and on scene calls.

You will work within a safety-focused environment on a well-equipped aircraft, supporting physicians and caring for patients of all ages. The role requires 3+ years in Emergency/Adult Critical Care, active RN licensure in the served states, required certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP), EMT and Trauma certifications, and CFRN within

Qualifications

• Minimum: 3 years of Emergency or Adult Critical Care experience as a licensed RN.
• Current RN license in states served by the assigned area.
• EMT Certification and Trauma Certification where required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight (NRP provided during training).
• CFRN required within 24 months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess situations to determine best action to support, monitor and treat patients in critical care.
• Utilize critical thinking to manage critically ill or injured patients and support physicians’ orders.
• Maintain safe, clean aircraft environment with regular equipment and base checks; follow safety standards and briefings.
• Collaborate and communicate with air/ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
