Job summary

Guardian Flight, Inc. seeks a Flight Nurse to join a team of air transportation experts, delivering critical care during patient transport and scene calls. You’ll work with flight crews, ground teams, and facilities to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

The role offers a starting range of $99,000–$102,000 annually with a $10,000 sign-on bonus payable after training, plus a 5 days on/10 days off rotation and company-paid crew housing while on shift.

Qualifications

• Three years of Emergency or Adult Critical Care RN experience.
• Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
• EMT Certification & Trauma Certification where required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status (NRP training provided).
• CFRN certification required within 24 months from date of hire.
• Preferred: prior flight experience.
• Preferred: instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS.

Responsibilities

• Flight Nurses assess each situation to determine best course of action for patient care in critical conditions.
• Utilize critical thinking to manage critically ill or injured adults or paediatric patients and support physicians’ orders.
• Maintain safe, clean aircraft environment; perform base checks and equipment readiness; comply with safety standards.
• Collaborate and communicate with air/ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Share shift-change information and maintain accurate company and regulatory records.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training required for the position.
• Committed to being on-time, reliable, professional, and upholding safety and service standards.
