Job summary

Guardian Flight, Inc. is hiring a Flight Nurse to transport patients and support scene call work with a trained air medical team. The role emphasizes safety, quality patient care and adherence to high safety standards for crew and customers.

The position offers a starting range of $99,000–$102,000 annually plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus payable after training, with a 5 days on/10 days off schedule and company-paid crew housing during shifts.

Qualifications

• Three years of Emergency or Adult Critical Care RN experience.
• Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
• EMT and Trauma certifications as required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status (NRP training provided during New Hire Training).
• CFRN certification required within 24 months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Flight Nurses will assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor and treat patients in critical care situations.
• Utilize critical thinking to manage critically ill or injured patients and support physicians’ orders.
• Maintain a safe, clean aircraft environment and ensure equipment/base checks and safety briefings.
• Collaborate with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Share shift change info and maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training for the position.
• Commitment to punctuality, reliability, professionalism, and elevated safety standards.
