The successful candidate will have 3 years experience in engine troubleshooting and the ability to work under diverse conditions. Qualifications

  • 3 years experience in diversified jet, turboprop or piston mod, phase inspection.
  • Capable of working in somewhat disagreeable conditions.
  • Trades training for use of measuring instruments and following instructions.
  • Knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems and components is required.
  • Equivalent trades training for use of arithmetic, blueprints, specifications, check lists, measuring instruments, testing devices is needed.
  • Able to work in conditions with exposure to noise, weather, hydraulic fluid, MEK, alcohol and other liquids.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare multi-engine aircraft mechanically for flight tests.
  • Perform functional checks on mechanical systems.
  • Assist senior mechanics with complex problems.
  • Address flight test and inspection issues, making necessary adjustments or corrections.
  • Assist senior mechanics with complex problems and guide lower classification mechanics
  • Taxi aircraft to check systems and components using various mechanic hand tools and equipment.

We are hiring immediately for a Flight Mechanic – A&P .

What you will be doing as a Flight Mechanic – A&P :

In this role, you can expect to prepare multi-engine aircraft mechanically for flight tests and customer delivery. You'll also have the opportunity to expand your skill set and career growth by performing a variety of essential functions. Join us and be a crucial part of our dynamic aviation team!

Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):

  • Install & Assemble : Install line shortage items, disassemble and reassemble components as needed
  • System Checks : Perform functional checks on mechanical systems like engines, flight controls, fuel, oxygen, and hydraulics, making necessary adjustments for flight
  • Instrument & Engine Testing : Set instruments, test run engines, rig and synchronize throttles, and set stops
  • Flight Test Support : Address flight test and inspection issues, making necessary adjustments or corrections
  • Assist & Guide : Assist senior mechanics with complex problems, guide and instruct lower classification mechanics
  • Aircraft Taxiing : Taxi aircraft to check systems and components using various mechanic hand tools and equipment

What you need to be successful:

  • A high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification is required
  • An A&P license is required
  • 3 years experience in diversified jet, turboprop or piston mod, phase inspection, engine troubleshooting experience or servicing under the guidance of a licensed A&P or at an FAA certified repair station is required
  • A knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems and components is needed
  • Equivalent trades training for use of arithmetic, blueprints, specifications, check lists, measuring instruments, testing devices, and following general instructions is needed
  • Ability to work in somewhat disagreeable work conditions due to exposure to noise, weather, hydraulic fluid, MEK, alcohol and other liquids is needed
