Job summary

Textron Aviation in Wichita, KS seeks an A&P Mechanic B-573 for a Fri-Sun 3x12 night shift. You will perform inspections, maintenance, modifications, and repairs on Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft, diagnosing issues and preparing aircraft for flight and delivery.

Requires high school diploma or GED or WorkKeys bronze, A&P license, knowledge of FAR 43 inspections, and at least 3 years in diversified jet, turboprop, piston maintenance. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits included.

Responsibilities

• Use of tools and equipment: apply tensiometers, micrometers, gauges and hand tools to repair/modify systems.

What you will be doing as an A & P Mechanic:

You can expect to conduct thorough inspections, maintenance, modifications, and repairs on Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft models. Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited no):

• Mechanical Duties: Perform a variety of mechanical tasks on various aircraft models, including diagnosing malfunctions, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, and adjustment of aircraft systems to prepare for flight and delivery
• Engine and Airframe Maintenance: Perform troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of turbine engines, including engine run-ups. Carry out airframe system and component changes, systems checkout, and install service bulletins and kits on both airframes and engines
• Use of Tools and Equipment: Utilize equipment such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, timing lights, and various hand tools to repair or modify systems or assemblies

What you need to be successful:

High school education, GED, or a bonze level WorkKeys certification required

A&P License is required

Knowledge of 100-hour, annual, and progressive inspection procedures as per FAR 43 is required.
