Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor at NAS Fallon, NV to lead organization-level maintenance on assigned aircraft under contract. You will supervise maintenance actions, coordinate workload, ensure Safe for Flight releases, and align with government schedules and quality controls.

You will need 8 years of aircraft maintenance experience with 4–6 years in a supervisory role, knowledge of CNAFINST 4790.2, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or equivalent.
• 8 years aircraft maintenance experience; 4–6 years supervisory.
• Experience supervising daily flight operations personnel.
• Knowledge of CNAFINST 4790.2 and related directives.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance (Secret).

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance on assigned aircraft per contract.
• Coordinate and monitor maintenance actions to meet flight schedules.
• Release Aircraft Safe for Flight and monitor QA inspections.
• Instruct and train lower-level employees in methods and performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulatory standards.
