Job summary

Amentum is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor at NAS Fallon, NV. You will supervise organizational-level maintenance on assigned aircraft, coordinate production, and ensure Safe for Flight releases with strict adherence to CNAFINST 4790.2 and government directives.

The role requires prior naval aviation maintenance experience, SNOC, and the ability to work all shifts on the Fallon flight line. The position reports to Maintenance Operations/Manager and offers competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• 8 years of aircraft maintenance experience, with 4 to 6 years of supervisory experience in a position that included responsibility for assigning program workloads as well as duties for entire shifts.
• Must have experience supervising daily flight operations personnel supporting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
• Knowledgeable of technical directives and CNAFINST 4790.2 Series; be knowledgeable of and understand basic supply procedures; possess a working knowledge of applicable aircraft and shall have worked a minimum of one year in a maintenance/production control position.
• Shall have experience writing with clarity and technical accuracy.
• Must be able to work all assigned shifts & schedules.
• Must have a current valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any company/government required qualifications, certifications, or license.
• Must have a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• The Maintenance Supervisor shall supervise maintenance actions to retain or restore aircraft to serviceable condition with efficient resource use.
• Release Aircraft Safe for Flight and monitor SCIR documentation via NALCOMIS/OOMA.
• Ensure maintenance conforms to requirements, safety rules, and standards.
