Job summary

Texas State Technical College seeks an Instructor to deliver high-quality aviation instruction and assessments in an applied learning environment. You will mentor students, integrate technology, and align with college values to support student growth and success.

You will manage schedules, maintain records, and participate in recruitment/promotional activities while upholding safety standards and FAA regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Up-to-date FAA regulatory knowledge and applicable teaching experience.
• Mentor and train students to the highest safety standards.
• Strong interpersonal communication and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Deliver approved curriculum and assessments in an applied learning environment.
• Facilitate activities and provide guidance and mentorship to students.
• Interpret assessments and offer constructive feedback to support growth.
• Integrate technology to enrich learning experiences.
• Maintain accurate student records and scheduling; ensure safety and equipment security.
• Engage in student advisement, recruitment events, and program promotion.
• Demonstrate core college values in interactions with stakeholders.
