Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a FLIGHT DECK Specialist to deploy its lean operating model and align safety, quality, delivery, and cost priorities. The role coaches teams, optimizes processes, and drives a culture of continuous improvement to deliver value to customers.

The position requires up to 20% travel and will guide operations teams through their FLIGHT DECK journey, teaching lean principles and driving ownership and adoption.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4 years in manufacturing or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Manufacturing, Operations and/or Training.
  • Strong knowledge of lean principles and FLIGHT DECK fundamentals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Lean initiatives and deploy FLIGHT DECK fundamentals across teams.
  • Identify and eliminate waste using value stream mapping, kaizen, and problem-solving frameworks.
  • Implement daily visual management to track SQDC metrics and enable real-time decision making.
