Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Climate Decarbonization Manager to lead Scope 3 emissions strategy and reporting across its product portfolio. The role interfaces with engineering, supply chain, and sustainability teams to ensure accurate GHG inventories and lifecycle assessments, including PCF calculations and ecodesign readiness under ESPR.

The candidate will collaborate with external stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams to implement standardized processes, audits, and data-driven sustainability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Materials, or Environmental desired.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in aerospace product engineering or knowledge of the aviation industry.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product engineering or manufacturing engineering.
• Strong understanding of carbon inventory management principles and GHG methodologies (GHG Protocol).

Responsibilities

• Lead Strategy for Scope 3 and reporting across GE Aerospace products.
• Develop and execute Flight Deck standard work for Scope 3 data collection, analyses, methodologies, and audits.
• Monitor updates to Scope 3 and GHG Protocol; define response strategies.
• Coordinate with Government Relations on regulatory challenges (ESPR, EU Taxonomy, CSRD).
• Contribute to GE Aerospace sustainability disclosures (Annual Report, CDP).
• Support circular economy initiatives and product lifecycle, ecodesign, and DPP data requirements.
