Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Supplier Emissions and Scope 3 Lead to own end-to-end management of supplier-level GHG data feeding AWS's upstream inventory.

You will be the single-threaded owner of data quality, accuracy, and process improvement, supporting The Climate Pledge and net-zero by 2040. You will collaborate with suppliers, engineering and finance teams to collect, validate, and operationalize Scope 3 data, influence decarbonization targets, and enable credible reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience in carbon accounting, GHG emissions measurement, or environmental data management.
• 3+ years of experience with Scope 3 emissions data, including supplier-reported data collection and validation.
• Experience applying the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard and Scope 3 Standard in a corporate or consulting setting.

Responsabilités

• Own Scope 3 supplier data inventory management and data quality.
• Model supplier-level emissions forecasting and support target setting.
• Design data validation frameworks and track data quality metrics.
• Partner with engineering and BI teams to automate data workflows.
• Lead annual supplier data validation cycles with suppliers.
• Serve as SME on Scope 3 accounting methodologies and factors.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and Sustainability for reporting.
