Job summary

Cirrus in Duluth, MN is seeking a Production Technician in Composites or Assembly to learn and perform a range of tasks using hand tools and pneumatic fixtures to assemble aircraft parts, with emphasis on safety and quality.

You will read engineering drawings, understand tolerances, install fasteners, prepare surfaces, and document work steps as required, while growing your skills through on‑the‑job training and Cirrus‑provided career development.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of basic tools and uses good judgment when selecting the proper tool for the job.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn Cirrus processes and assembler roles.
• Inspect, build and install aircraft components.
• Read drawings and understand specifications.
• Install rivets, screws and bolts with appropriate tools.
• Follow build instructions and document activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation.
• Wear PPE as required, including respirator if needed.
