Job summary

JetBlue is seeking a Coordinator Flight Crew in Long Island City, NY. This on-site role manages crewmember schedules and open segments while ensuring FAR compliance and seamless operations. You will interact with Crew Services Leadership and other departments to maintain service standards.

The position requires a High School/GED plus customer service experience, strong math, and proficient use of Microsoft Office. Occasional overnight travel and drug testing are part of the process.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma.
• One year of customer service or office experience.
• Proficiency in math demonstrated via a work sample during the hiring process.
• Solid computer background including extensive use of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Available for occasional overnight travel (10%).
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.
• Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and resolve operational disruptions and legalities within 48 hours, to Flight Crewmembers' schedules and pairings in accordance with FARs and company policies and procedures.
• Schedule and allocate Flight reserve resources for the assignment of open flying and operational coverage.
• Communicate and coordinate with System Operations to resolve daily operational irregularities.
• Continuously monitor company Electronic Mail.
• Make close-in, critical Flight Crewmember notifications as necessary.
• Maintain daily checklists and shift logs, and provide verbal briefing as necessary and assigned.
• Complete other duties as assigned by Crew Services Leadership.
• Other duties as assigned.
