Job summary

DO & CO group is seeking a highly organized Flight Coordinator to join the New York team on-site. You will manage flight information, coordinate production, and ensure timely handover of catering products to airline crews in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, 1+ year related experience, strong planning and communication skills, and flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Benefits include meals, health coverage, and 401(k) eligibility.

Qualifications

• Strong planning and coordination abilities to manage flight information and handovers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional communication across departments and distribute incoming flight information.
• Coordinate production activities to meet quality standards, specs, accuracy and deadlines.
• Oversee timely handover of catering products to airline crews.
• Verify flight requirements including meal counts, special meals, equipment and trolley assignments.
• Inspect products and trolleys to ensure presentation, quality, and delivery standards.
• Conduct physical counts and pack additional meals or supplies as needed.
• Support tray setup, food preparation, assembly, and packaging with Food Packers.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock-management activities.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements and report concerns.
• Communicate operational changes clearly and respond quickly to prevent delays.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and customer experience.
• Lead by example in a fast-paced production environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned while upholding DO & CO standards.
