Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking an intern in Electrical/Computer Engineering to contribute to flight control products. You will work with experienced hardware engineers, participate in design reviews, and gain exposure to development and documentation for new programs.

Qualifications

Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
Experience with analog and/or high-speed digital circuits.
Experience with standard test equipment including oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, together with experience in troubleshooting analog and digital circuitry.

Responsibilities

Work with exceptional, highly experienced hardware engineers in the design, verification and support of flight control products.
Participate in the creation and review of new product design and associated documentation for new programs.
Perform troubleshooting of electronic circuit boards, sub-assemblies and modules.
Provide factory support in troubleshooting production problems.
