A Day in Your Dynamic Career
  • Ensuring the highest standards of safety and comfort for every passenger from gate to gate.
  • Providing warm, professional service while preparing and serving meals, beverages, and snacks.
  • Greeting passengers, assisting with luggage, and making clear, reassuring announcements.
  • Demonstrating effective leadership and clear thinking in both routine and emergency situations.
  • Calmly resolving passenger needs, from simple inquiries to more complex scenarios.
  • Conducting detailed safety checks of the cabin and all emergency equipment before every flight.
  • Working independently with integrity, adhering to all procedures while contributing to a positive team environment.
Do You Have What It Takes?
  • Be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess a current U.S. or foreign passport valid for at least 12 months beyond your application date, with necessary visas for travel between the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and the Bahamas.
  • Have excellent verbal and written English communication skills for safety briefings and reporting.
  • Be comfortable using electronic devices for in-flight operations, sales, and training.
  • Maintain a reliable and punctual work ethic with a flexible schedule, willing to work shifts up to 16 hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Be prepared for frequent travel and the ability to work independently for extended periods.
  • Be willing to relocate to one of SkyWest's assigned crew domiciles upon completion of training.
Physical & Professional Requirements
  • Height between 5'0" and 6'0" without shoes, with weight proportionate to height to safely perform all duties and operate equipment.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, bending, reaching, lifting up to 45 lbs, and pushing/pulling a beverage cart (up to 250 lbs) with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Corrected vision no worse than 20/40 and normal hearing range.
  • Maintain a professional, neat, and clean appearance in accordance with our uniform and appearance guidelines, which include specific standards regarding tattoos, piercings, and hairstyles.
Your Rewards & Compensation
  • Guaranteed monthly income: New hire Flight Attendants are guaranteed pay for 76 flight hours per month as a reserve.
  • Starting pay: $30.32 per flight hour.
  • Monthly guarantee: 76 hours x $30.32/hour = $2,304.32 gross monthly guarantee.
  • Per diem: Earn an additional $2.25 for every hour you are on duty away from your home base.
  • Career growth: This is your gateway to the aviation industry with a leading regional airline, offering a clear path for professional development.
