Job summary

Indiana State University is seeking a Flight Academy Lead Dispatcher/Compliance Coordinator to oversee dispatchers, record-keeping, and FAA compliance for student flight/ground training at ISU Flight Academy.

The role includes supervising dispatchers, auditing enrollment and student records, and ensuring adherence to FAA requirements. A valid driver's license is required, and prior aviation/educational experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Experience in aviation or educational environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Lead Dispatcher/Compliance Coordinator reports to the Chief Instructor to ensure flight training policies are followed.
• Perform compliance audits and assist enrollment letters to the FAA.
• Ensure student and instructor records are complete each semester (SOPs, medical, pilot cert, passport/birth cert, exams and graduation dates).
• Verify lessons in MyFBO are completed with signatures and times are accurate in the tracking system.
• Identify 141 graduates and provide Aviation Department data on graduates.
• Help supervise dispatchers to keep the Flight Academy facility and aircraft maintained.
