Job summary

ProAmpac is hiring skilled flexo press operators at our Hartford, WI facility. The role focuses on operating a wide-web flexographic press, ensuring prints match jacket specs, and maintaining quality through sample retention.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years operating the same or similar flexographic printing press equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot printing and process issues with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks and adhere to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate a wide web flexographic printing press.
• Ensure print design conforms to job jacket information.
• Retain print samples for quality records.
• Package and label work in-process or finished product.
• Verify raw materials are approved for use.
• Calibrate all equipment as required.
• Identify and control non-conforming material.
• Set up and clean up the machine.

Hours

• Nights: B shift l Monday-Thursday l 6pm-6am

Wage

• Experienced Press Operators wages range from $27 - $35/hour (BOE)


• $2/hour shift premium while working on B-shift

Essential Duties

• Operate a wide web flexographic printing press


• Ensure print design conforms to job jacket information.


• Responsible for print sample retention.


• Responsible for proper packaging and labeling of work in-process or finished product


• Ensure raw materials have been approved for use.


• Ensure all equipment being used is properly calibrated.


• Identification and control of Non-conforming material.


• Set-up and Clean-up machine.


• Follow all applicable instructions relative to food safety and the SQF Food Safety Management System, including Employee GMP’s

Qualifications, Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred


• 5+ years Prior operation of same or similar flexographic printing press equipment


• Climbing Stairs, Bending, Twisting, Reaching, Pushing, Pulling and Squatting. Walking or standing on concrete floors for most of shift. Lifting is minimal, occasionally up to 70 lbs. Exposure to inks coatings, and solvents. Good and reliable attendance.
