Resource Label Group is seeking a Flexo Press Operator to set up and operate our printing press for labels and related products. The role includes on-site training and opportunities to grow your skills in a skilled trade within the printing industry.

Pay ranges from $26.00 to $33.00 per hour, with potential for advancement as you gain experience. The job emphasizes hands-on learning, attention to color accuracy, and regular maintenance of printing equipment.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma is required or equivalent.
• Experience with flexographic printing press preferred (1 year).
• Ability to read measurements and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Reads job order and loads dies into press, installs print cylinder on shaft and installs print cylinder in press.
• Fills ink pans, screens and pumps with prescribed inks.
• Starts press, adjusting speed and alignment of stock to the print cylinder as necessary.
• Engages print cylinders; adjusts printing impression as necessary, places print cylinders lead-to-lead and runs down approval strip.
• Inspects printed rolls for defects and makes adjustments as needed.
• Performs daily, weekly and monthly maintenance on press equipment.
• Mixes inks to achieve desired colors and viscosity.
• Maintains organized work areas and adheres to housekeeping standards.
