Job summary

Resource Label Group, LLC (RLG) in Cerritos, CA is seeking a Flexo Press Operator to set up and operate the printing press for label production. The role runs Monday to Friday, 5:00am to 1:30pm, onsite with training provided and potential for career growth.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED with 1–3 years related experience, the ability to read rulers, and the stamina to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform routine maintenance. Wage range is $22–$26 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent; 1–3 years related experience preferred.
• Must read and interpret ruler, scales and other measurement devices.
• Ability to stand and walk regularly; lift up to 50 pounds with/without assist.
• Wage range $22.00/hour to $26.00/hour.

Responsibilities

• Reads job order and loads dies into press, installs print cylinder on shaft and presses.
• Fills ink pans, screens and pumps with prescribed inks.
• Starts press and adjusts stock speed/position for print alignment.
• Engages print cylinders and adjusts printing impression.
• Cuts samples from printed roll and inspects for defects.
• Cleans plates, cylinders and dies; performs maintenance.
• Mixes inks to achieve colors and viscosity.
• Maintains a clean, organized work area.
