Three Rivers Therapy in Washington state is seeking a dedicated Peer Specialist to join our behavioral health team. You will provide lived-experience mentorship, emotional support, and guidance to individuals and families navigating recovery within office, community, and crisis stabilization settings.

Under supervision of licensed professionals, you will document services in accordance with Medicaid and organizational requirements, collaborate with care teams, promote resilience, and help

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals and families in identifying meaningful services and activities that promote recovery, resilience, and a sense of purpose.
• Support clients in developing personalized recovery goals and strategies tailored to their strengths.
• Share relevant lived experiences to inspire hope and model coping techniques.
• Encourage personal responsibility and empowerment throughout the recovery journey.
• Facilitate access to supports including stable housing, education, employment, self-advocacy skills, and the development of supportive relationships.
• Serve as a strong advocate for clients, ensuring their voices are heard within the treatment team and community systems.
• Model recovery and self-management skills to empower clients in maintaining wellness.
• Accurately complete documentation of services provided in compliance with Medicaid and employer requirements, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
