Candidates must be WA-certified Peer Recovery/Support Specialists and have recovery-program experience. The job emphasizes compassionate, organization-driven support and collaboration with clinical teams to plan care and assist members.

Qualifications

• Must be fully WA certified as a Peer Recovery/Support Specialist.
• Experience as a Peer Recovery/Support Specialist with participation in a recovery program.
• Caring and compassionate with a passion for helping individuals facing substance-exposed living.
• Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identifying individual member needs and documenting interventions based on relationships and assessments.
• Providing support to members through a variety of settings and assisting with support groups as needed.
• Contributing to case management meetings to ensure a team approach for each member.
• Completing documentation for member contacts, touches, cancellations and care plans per policies.
• Communicating professionally with members, families, physicians, community agencies, and staff.
• Following chain of command in communicating concerns or recommendations.
• Achieving set goals/KPIs.
• Representing Mindoula and the Substance Use Disorder program through community engagement.
• Participating in performance improvement processes and initiatives.
• Promoting prudent stewardship of Mindoula's resources.
• Maintaining punctuality and attendance.
• Partnering with enrollment to grow member census and enroll eligible members.
• Other duties as assigned.
