Job summary

FM Boiler Re, a division of FM, seeks a full-time Claims Analyst for its Malvern, PA headquarters. The role focuses on evaluating claims for mechanical, electrical, or pressure system breakdown events and investigating losses in a paperless environment.

You will adjust homeowner claims with occasional commercial or farm losses, coordinate with insureds and partner companies, and contribute to data entry in the FM Boiler Re claims system.

Qualifications

• Must have or must obtain state adjuster licenses.
• Strong relationship management and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, listening, organizational, written and oral communication skills.
• Must be analytical and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate claims for mechanical, electrical, or pressure system breakdown events.
• Investigate the equipment loss claimed and contact all pertinent parties.
• Research equipment claimed and provide settlement or declination recommendations.
• Adjust homeowner claims with occasional commercial or farm losses.
• Assist in data entry/clerical duties such as establishing new losses in FM Boiler Re claims database.
