Job summary

Whole Foods Market, Inc. is seeking an In-Store Shopper to prepare customer orders for delivery or pickup and support the Customer Service & E-Commerce teams. You will shop throughout the store for produce, meat, dairy, and more, with a focus on accuracy and timely fulfillment.

Shifts involve weekends, early mornings, and holidays with 4–8 hour blocks. No prior retail experience is required, and there is a comprehensive Whole Benefits program for eligible team members.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills online orders efficiently, accurately and with a sense of urgency using handheld technology and/or fixed devices
• Ensure product and order accuracy through meticulous verification and quality control processes
• Learn and apply product knowledge, customer service standards, and store operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences
• Keep staging area organized and free of clutter
• Handle in-store and online order returns and pickups
• Comply with government regulations such as age verification requirements for restricted items
• Assist with customer inquiries and provide store information
• Maintain knowledge of product and promotional events
• Maintain a positive work environment
• Communicate clearly, collaboratively and courteously
• Attend all meetings assigned by Leadership, including daily huddles
• Support company program and initiatives, inclusive of varied checkout options, store formats and all product assortment, tools, and technology
• Maintains operational standards including but not limited to safety and store security protocols
• Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Performs other duties as assigned by store or company leadership
