Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking in-store Shopper to prepare customer orders for delivery or pickup in a fast-paced retail environment. You will support the Customer Service & E-Commerce teams, working on weekends, holidays, and varied shifts to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Sufficient English language proficiency to prepare and shop customer orders
• Must be 18+ years old

Responsibilities

• Fulfills online orders efficiently, accurately and with a sense of urgency using handheld technology and/or fixed devices
• Ensure product and order accuracy through meticulous verification and quality control processes
• Learn and apply product knowledge, customer service standards, and store operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences
• Keep staging area organized and free of clutter
• Handle in-store and online order returns and pickups
• Comply with government regulations such as age verification requirements for restricted items
• Assist with customer inquiries and provide store information
• Maintain knowledge of product and promotional events
• Maintain a positive work environment
• Communicate clearly, collaboratively and courteously
• Attend all meetings assigned by Leadership, including daily huddles
• Support company program and initiatives, inclusive of varied checkout options, store formats and all product assortment, tools, and technology
• Maitain operational standards including safety and store security protocols
• Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Performs other duties as assigned by store or company leadership
