Job summary

Whole Foods Market, Inc is seeking In-Store Shoppers to support and prepare customer orders for delivery or pickup. You’ll shop throughout the store for everyday goods and must be flexible to work peak hours, including Saturdays and Sundays, holidays, and early mornings.

Prior retail experience isn’t required, but strong service orientation is essential. As part of the Customer Service & E-Commerce teams, you’ll ensure accuracy, assist customers, and maintain store standards while adapting to

Qualifications

• Strong customer service, hospitality and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with multi-tasking capabilities.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Sufficient English language proficiency to prepare and shop customer orders.
• Must be 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills online orders efficiently, accurately and with a sense of urgency using handheld technology and/or fixed devices.
• Ensure product and order accuracy through meticulous verification and quality control processes.
• Learn and apply product knowledge, customer service standards, and store operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Keep staging area organized and free of clutter.
• Handle in-store and online order returns and pickups.
• Comply with government regulations such as age verification requirements for restricted items.
• Assist with customer inquiries and provide store information.
• Maintain knowledge of product and promotional events.
• Maintain a positive work environment.
• Communicate clearly, collaboratively and courteously.
• Attend all meetings assigned by Leadership, including daily huddles.
• Support company program and initiatives, inclusive of varied checkout options, store formats and all product assortment, tools, and technology.
• Maintains operational standards including but not limited to safety and store security protocols.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store or company leadership.
