Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• Current Michigan Physical Therapist license.
• 1-2 years inpatient acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical and functional status including strength, motor function, reflexes, and ambulation.
• Establish short and long term therapy goals and create treatment plans.
• Provide treatment using therapeutic exercise, gait training, functional training, modalities and assistive devices.
• Document progress and communicate with physicians and health care team members.
• Participate in discharge planning and home program instruction.
