Job summary

Bond Vet is seeking a compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team. You will support Veterinarians and Vet Techs, provide patient care, and ensure a smooth clinic flow.

The role offers a full-time schedule with four 10-hour shifts per week and a weekend rotation, along with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. You’ll help with scribing, procedures, patient handling, and client communication, while maintaining a focus on pet welfare and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a veterinary assistant or kennel assistant.
• Working knowledge of veterinary terminology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Proficient typing and using multiple computer systems.
• Passion for pets.

Responsibilities

• Scribe for our Veterinarians during visits.
• Assist with surgeries, x-rays, treatments, and other procedures.
• Restrain pets for exams with compassion.
• Record and report patient symptoms.
• Restock and maintain clinic areas and exam rooms.
• Clearly communicate pricing estimates and treatment plans to clients.
• Assist with client interactions, scheduling, and education as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your team leaders.
