Bond Vet is seeking a proactive Veterinary Assistant to join our team. You will support veterinarians and vet techs, scribe during visits, assist with procedures, restrain pets for exams, and help with client interactions. This is a full-time role with four 10-hour shifts weekly.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience as a veterinary assistant or kennel assistant.
• Working knowledge of veterinary terminology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask with accuracy and efficiency.
• High proficiency for typing and utilizing multiple computer systems and capturing recommendations during visits.

Responsibilities

• Scribe for veterinarians during visits.
• Support medical team with surgeries, x-rays, treatments and other procedures.
• Compassionately restrain pets for exams.
• Record and report on patient symptoms.
• Clean, restock and maintain clinic common areas and exam rooms.
• Clearly communicate pricing estimates and treatment plans to clients.
• Assist with client interactions, walk-ins, calls, scheduling, and education as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by team leaders.
