Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to grow dealership inventory by purchasing customer vehicles. You will engage customers, manage expectations, and guide them through the We'll Buy Your Car process to deliver on the hourly check within an hour.

This role offers flexible hours with hourly pay plus a bonus for each vehicle purchased, plus comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth across a nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Sales or customer-service experience preferred.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals and manage expectations.

Responsibilities

• Responds to incoming leads by phone, internet and walk-in traffic.
• Identifies private parties looking to sell their vehicle and engages them.
• Sets up appointments for dealership visits and appraisals.
• Executes the We'll Buy Your Car Same-Day Payment process.
• Reviews condition reports and inspects vehicles onsite.
• Interacts with customers throughout the day, in person and by phone.
• Refer customers preferring trade-ins to the sales team.
