Job summary

Castle Education in Scarborough is seeking Teaching Assistants to work across local schools with flexible day-to-day opportunities that fit around your availability. Earn £14.24–£16 per hour with weekly PAYE and holiday pay.

You can start with supply work and move to longer-term placements or permanent positions across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, SEN settings, or general support roles. No evenings or weekends; we provide training and a dedicated consultant to guide you.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people in school, nursery, childcare or SEN settings.
• Flexible to work across Scarborough schools with day-to-day and longer-term opportunities.
• Eligible for PAYE weekly pay and holiday pay.

We would love to hear from people with experience as: Teaching Assistants, SEN Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, Learning Mentors, Behaviour Support Workers, Nursery Practitioners, Support Workers, Graduates, Childcare Professionals. You don’t necessarily need to have worked as a Teaching Assistant before. If you have relevant experience supporting children or young people, particularly within a school, nursery, childcare or SEN setting, we would love to hear from you.
