Castle Education is seeking a Primary Supply Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across different year groups in Scarborough and surrounding areas. Flexible supply work can fit around your availability, with short term and long term placements and PAYE pay.

You will work with schools across the Yorkshire Coast, building relationships, maintaining high standards, and safeguarding pupils while providing consistent support for classroom learning.

Competenze

• QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Recent experience in a UK school environment
• A good understanding of the Primary curriculum
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Strong classroom management skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

Primary Supply Teacher
Location: Scarborough, Whitby, Filey, Bridlington and surrounding areas
Salary: £130 to £210 per day

What will you be doing?
As a Primary Supply Teacher, you could be working across different year groups and schools, depending on your experience and preferences.
Your responsibilities may include:

• Delivering engaging lessons that have been planned by the class teacher or creating your own lessons where required
• Following school policies and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Supporting pupils with their learning and development
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively
• Working alongside teaching assistants and other school staff
• Providing feedback to the school following your day
• Taking responsibility for the welfare and safeguarding of pupils in your care

What are we looking for? We are looking for qualified Primary Teachers who have:

• QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Recent experience working within a UK school environment
• A good understanding of the Primary curriculum
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Strong classroom management skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
• A flexible and positive approach to working in different school environments
