Job summary

Ampersand Therapy in Thornton, CO is seeking an SLPA to provide school-based speech-language services under a licensed SLP. This part-time role runs 3 days per week for the 2026-2027 school year.

You will support articulation, language, fluency and social communication goals, while collecting data, maintaining progress notes, and collaborating with teachers, families, and school teams. Supervision and mentorship are provided.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado SLPA license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Colorado CDE authorization/certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services under the supervision of an SLP
• Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication goals
• Implement therapy plans and activities developed by the supervising SLP
• Collect data and maintain therapy documentation and progress notes
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams
• Assist with preparing therapy materials and supporting student engagement
• Participate in team meetings and maintain compliance with school documentation requirements
