Blackrock Logistics Inc in Palmdale, California is seeking a Dispatcher for 1st and 2nd shifts to coordinate daily scheduling, routing, and dispatch of drivers and freight. The role involves ensuring safe, timely deliveries, acting as the main link between drivers, customers, and operations, and monitoring loads in transit to address delays and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in dispatch or logistics, familiarity with DOT/FMCSA rules, and proficiency with dispatch software

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
1–2 years dispatch/logistics/transport coordination experience.
Working knowledge of California and federal DOT/FMCSA regulations, including hours-of-service.
Proficiency with dispatch software, GPS/telematics, and Microsoft Office.
Strong verbal and written communication, multitasking and problem-solving.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.

Responsabilités

Schedule, route, and dispatch drivers and vehicles to meet delivery deadlines and maximize efficiency.
Monitor driver locations, loads, and delivery status using dispatch tools.
Serve as primary link between drivers, customers, warehouse staff and management.
Respond to delays and disruptions by rerouting loads as needed.
Ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA and California regulations, including hours-of-service.
