Blackrock Logistics Inc. Palmdale, CA is seeking an Operations Supervisor (2nd Shift) to lead day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping to ensure safety, accuracy, and on-time performance.

The role involves supervising a team of warehouse associates, coordinating staffing, workflow, and productivity to meet service targets while maintaining a compliant and cost-efficient operation. Cal/OSHA safety policy enforcement is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3+ years in warehouse, distribution, or logistics operations, including 1+ year in lead/supervisory role.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and material-handling practices.
• Experience with WMS and standard business software.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills for a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Cal/OSHA safety requirements.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and overtime.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Preferred: degree in supply chain or related field; PIT certification; Lean/Six Sigma; bilingual.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of warehouse staff across shifts.
• Plan and direct receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory-control processes.
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions.
• Enforce safety policies and Cal/OSHA requirements; conduct safety briefings.
• Train, coach and evaluate team members; assist hiring and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with wage-and-hour requirements and accurate timekeeping.
• Maintain inventory records and coordinate cycle counts and audits.
• Collaborate with transportation, customer service, and management.
