Job summary

The Cashier (FSW) position at the U.S. Naval Academy's Non-Appropriated Fund Division is a flex, non-benefited role in the Drydock and 19th Hole Quick Service locations in Annapolis, MD. You will greet guests, take orders, process payments, and help with opening/closing procedures.

Evening shifts are scheduled 3–5 days per week, with some holiday work. Prior experience in Quick Service or with a POS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in Quick Service, Fast Food or Dine-in Restaurant.
• POS/Cash Register experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume setting.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with questions.
• Take orders and process payments using POS.
• Open/close procedures including cleaning tasks.
• Prepare beverages and stock pastries and grab-and-go items.
• Serve food in a professional, sanitary, friendly manner.
• Assist with catering events as needed.
• Stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 20–50 pounds.
