Job summary

The Bartender position at the U.S. Naval Academy's NABSD Retail Dining and Hospitality in Annapolis, Maryland, supports the Navy and Marine Corps community by providing beverage service in a fast-paced restaurant and catering environment.

The role may involve shifts at the Alley Club, anchors venue, and other Navy venues, with flexible 6–8 hour shifts and 3–5 days per week. Responsibilities include preparing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks, handling payments, maintaining inventory

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age for Federal Bartending.
• Experience working with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Restaurant or Catering Bartending experience preferred.
• Front-facing customer service with strong communication skills.
• Ability to operate in a professional, sanitary, service-oriented manner.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment, under short time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves all types of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages from a full-service bar.
• Receives payment or charges to member's account.
• Assists in taking inventory and maintaining records.
• Keeps bar area clean and stocked.
• Washes bar equipment, glassware, and utensils.
• Executes other related duties as required.
