Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to serve clients across multiple industries. You will use a shift-picking platform to build a schedule that fits your availability and gain site experience across healthcare, education, and finance sectors.

The role offers weekly pay and a $19 per hour pay rate, with requirements including a valid driver’s license and the ability to work irregular shifts. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer‑owned vehicle.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed).
• Good written and verbal communication and ability to interact with the public.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department when needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor access points.
• Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site orders.
