Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to safeguard clients across healthcare, education, finance, and more. You will use our shift-pickup platform to view and claim open shifts based on availability, building a schedule that fits you while gaining site experience.

This role may include irregular shifts with short notice; pay rate is $21.50 per hour. No prior experience is required, though prior security or military background is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 5 years verifiable security experience.
• Background check required; per applicable laws.
• Drug screening as permitted by law.
• Must be 18+ (21+ if armed, per state).
• Driver's license if operating a company or client vehicle.
• Reliable and adaptable to different posts.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Ability to operate radio/console equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially with the public.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or by vehicle.
• Monitor for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department as needed.
• Warn violators of infractions and monitor entrances and exits.
• Investigate incidents and maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Make emergency notifications per site orders.
