Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Flex Officer to safeguard clients across industries including Healthcare, Education, and Finance in a dynamic Mount Lebanon setting. You will work in shifts up to 40 hours weekly, with morning/afternoon/overnight availability, and gain hands-on site experience across multiple industries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 5 years of verifiable security experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company- or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background investigation and drug screen required by Allied Universal.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed).
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
• Ability to operate radio/telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
• Effective oral and written communication skills; clear and accurate writing.
• Active listening and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Assess and evaluate situations quickly; identify critical issues.
• Mediate conflict with tact and diplomacy.
• Teamwork and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions creating security concerns or hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police/fire department if needed.
• Warn violators of infractions (loitering, smoking, etc.).
• Permit entry and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect property and ensure proper removal of items.
• Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors courteously and professionally.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
