Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Professional Flex Officer to safeguard clients across multiple industries. You will use our shift-pickup platform to view and claim open shifts based on availability, enabling a flexible schedule while gaining site experience across healthcare, education, finance, and more.

The role offers weekly pay and opportunities for growth, with duties including patrols, incident reporting, and responding to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check conducted per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• No prior experience required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Reliability and adaptability to different post assignments.
• Ability to operate radio/console equipment.
• Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Active listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Assess and evaluate situations quickly and accurately.
• Mediation with tact and diplomacy.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions creating security concerns or hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department as needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions.
• Permit entry and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft.
• Investigate incidents and maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors politely.
• Make emergency notifications as required by site orders.
