Job summary

Senior Helpers of Melbourne is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing Skilled Home Health team. You will provide high-quality rehabilitative care in patients' homes under a licensed Physical Therapist's supervision, helping improve mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Florida PTA license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments as outlined in the patient's Plan of Care.
• Monitor and document patient progress toward established goals.
• Educate patients and family members on exercises, mobility techniques, and fall prevention.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, caregivers, physicians, and office staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Follow Medicare, state, and company regulations and standards.
• Promote patient safety and maintain the highest level of professionalism during all home visits.
