Senior Helpers - Melbourne is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Skilled Home Health team. You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist in patients' homes, helping improve mobility, balance, and independence with careful documentation.

We value reliable, patient-focused clinicians with Florida PTA licensure, CPR, and a valid driver's license. Flexible scheduling, mileage reimbursement, and a collaborative, supportive team await.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Florida PTA license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments as outlined in the patient's Plan of Care.
• Monitor patient progress toward established goals and document accordingly.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, mobility techniques, and fall prevention.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, physicians, and office staff to ensure coordinated care.
• Follow Medicare, state, and company regulations and standards.
• Promote patient safety and professional conduct during home visits.
