Job summary

Whiting Forensic Hospital (WFH), a DMHAS facility, seeks a dedicated Per Diem Psychiatrist to join our clinical team in Middletown, CT. You will provide psychiatric services on a per diem basis to patients under PSRB, with a focus on competency restoration and forensic care.

The role offers a flexible Monday–Friday schedule in a mission-driven environment, with opportunities to collaborate, learn, and contribute to Connecticut's public behavioral health system.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a license to practice medicine and surgery issued by the Connecticut Department of Public Health.
• Must have completed at least one year of psychiatry residency approved by the ACGME.

Responsibilities

• Provide per diem psychiatric services at Whiting Forensic Hospital in Middletown, CT.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team to deliver inpatient forensic psychiatric care.
