Job summary

Monarch Communities seeks a Wellness Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents under the Health and Wellness Director. This per-diem, non-exempt role covers all shifts and requires supervising care staff and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited nursing program diploma and an active LPN license, with 2+ years in long-term care or similar settings. Strong computer skills and physical stamina are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with current LPN license.
• Experience with long-term care, assisted living, home health or hospital setting preferred.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health, safety, and well-being of residents.
• Make rounds to see each resident daily and as needed.
• Assist in training and monitoring medication administration.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate care.
• Supervise care staff per state regulations and policies.
• Maintain clinical quality assurance per standards.
• Promote service quality and company mission.
• Conduct thorough resident assessments.
