Job summary

Monarch Communities seeks a part-time Wellness Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care under the Health and Wellness Director. You will supervise CNA and HHAs, monitor resident health, and assist with medication administration in a long-term care setting.

Requirements include an accredited nursing program, current LPN license, and prior experience with dementia care. Proficiency in MS Office and strong multitasking skills are expected. This role offers an hourly wage and part-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Must hold an LPN license and nursing degree.
• At least 2 years’ experience in long-term care or related settings preferred.
• Experience with residents with Alzheimer’s or related dementias is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health, safety, and well-being of residents.
• Assist in training and monitoring of medication administration.
• Supervise care staff in accordance with state regulations and policies.
• Maintain clinical quality assurance per federal, state, local standards.
• Promote high level of service and lead by company mission.
• Conduct thorough resident assessments.
