Job summary

Thind Management in Texas is seeking a Hotel Meetings Director to lead the hotel's corporate meetings and events, developing sales strategies and building key client relationships.

You will supervise the conference and catering operations, train staff, and coordinate with departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences while driving profitability. A background in hospitality, sales leadership, and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Hospitality Management preferred.
• At least 3 years’ experience in the hospitality industry.
• At least 3 years in hotel sales with a proven leadership track record.

Responsibilities

• Complete forecasts, plans and productivity reports for management.
• Participate in annual operating budget planning and monitor revenue.
• Negotiate F&B prices, space, and services within guidelines.
• Direct day-to-day conference/convention activities and coach staff.
• Educate and train staff on brand standards and compliance.
• Promote teamwork and coordinate with other departments.
• Provide guests with information to enhance their experience.
• Conduct tours and entertain clients to boost meetings.
• Assist clients with menu planning and event coordination.
• Arrange all details of meetings including room setup and AV.
• Plan pre/post-event meetings and analyze client feedback.
• Develop awareness and reputation of the hotel and brand.
• Coordinate safety initiatives and minimize waste/environmental impact.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Executive team & Ownership.
